Can I detect the calory of LFG (Land Fill Gas) directly with only one instrument? Otherwise do I have to install several instruments such as O2 and Metan gas detector in order to determine the calory of the fuel (LFG)? Please let me know it.

The conventional way is to use a chromatograph.
Very expensive ~ $100,000 for a complete system.
Suppliers Daniel ( Emerson), RMG ( www.rmg.de) etc.

Just coming on the market now is a new technology that calculates CV using gas properties like
thermal conductivity. Try RMG as they seem to be
leading.

As a low cost option you could try just an SG analyser. I'm not sure it would work for LF Gas,
it is reasonable for Natural Gas
