I was wondering if there is any way to print from a CPL program in Tracer Summit. What I have is analog inputs (Frig temps) That I am trying to print or log ONLY when they alarm. I do not want to have to trend the point and print out or save a week of normal operation. I also do not want to enable event printing as this prints out all the alarms in the event log. I noticed that in the analog input editor it allows you to run a CPL program on a alarm. This seems to be my only option.

 

Yes, have CPL control a BOP and that can be used to trigger a Trend. A custom report in Summit workstation can be run up to four times per day to save and print your Trend/Report.
