Do I need to place/use indicators, chart recorder, etc. if I'll be using a SCADA? Is it necessary to still use indicators in the field or a chart recorder if I have my SCADA? Or should I eliminate such indicators and recorder??

It depends on your preferences. It is better to have the indicators and data recorders intact so as to ensure that when the SCADA fails, you can still monitor your plant.
