The filter I need is approx 2 3/4 inches across and 4 inches high. I don't want to dismantle it in case the gasket causes a problem going back on!
This filter is fitted on top of the engine - there is 1off of these per engine. A small feed pipe from on top of the LHS of the engine filters oil which feeds back to the top of the RHS of the engine.
(It is not a filter adjacent to the sump - for those I have big Donaldson P55160 canister type spin on filters.)
The engine is a Detroit 2 stroke diesel Series 149 16 cylinder built 1992 approx.
