    Is Speed sensors considered SCE in Fire water Pump

    We have Diesel engine driving fire water Pump. I found the speed sensor considered not SCE (Safety Critical Element) while it is used for overspeed protection of the diesel engine. Is this correct ?? What is the reason to not consider it SCE?

    Can we modify our DP transmitter to be a PT to measure high pressure in one point only instead of DP between two points ??? What we should do and take care of? Such as plugging the low side of it??

    How to Run RSLogix-5 on Win-10 laptop?

    We have one old system PLC-5/60 has a problem and I need to download the program into the processor but all the laptops I have is Win-10 which not support RSLogix-5 so is there anyway to solve this issue???
