Is the Yokogawa Centum VP HMI HTML5?
To answer your questions; I do not know if you can convert them. They do not provide a utility. So if you can work out how to convent them a lot of people will want to know how to do it.

20 to 160mA VS 4 to 20mA
come across some that are 10-80mA. I put it down to needing enough current to generate a magnetic field in the drive coil strong enough to drive the swash plate or the proprotional spool valve.

Pneumatic PID Controller setup
Glad you clarified that you had a question. So it looks like you have a Yokogawa M43 controller, probably a MC43-A5C-N*A from the looks of it. The M43 is exactly the same as a Foxboro 43AP controller, except the case is different. This brings back some memories. Alignment refers to the things...

GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC using Proficy Machine Edition
The 90-30 high capacity PSU is IC693PWR331. If you are wanting to use a Rx3i PSU the part would be IC694PWR331. But that is not a rack chassis mount supply so would unlikely appear in proficy.

Upgradation of Yokogawa Centum VP release
I cant comment or recommend alternative hardware that you may be considering. You can consider your selection against a Yokogawa provided product, for that information try a search for a "Yokogawa YG1SY01"

Upgradation of Yokogawa Centum VP release
Nothing changes on FCS or IO side when changing Centum VP R4 to Centum VP R6 versions. The software changes and you will need to do offline down loads. Yokogawa will usually quote a replacement Vnet card for each new HIS hardware you buy. My experience Its not a must buy as the old cards still...

Upgradation of Yokogawa Centum VP release
I cannot comment on upgrading CS3000. VP R4.02 to R6 not sure if you can skip R5. Yokogawa can advise. There are a few differences between R4 & R6 so its not just a rev up with a few disks. Hope you have an LCA agreement. It is best to do a tech refresh on your computing hardware and build the...

HMI Problem in Centum VP Operator stations
You said in the OP "stations started giving problems". Go back and look at what changed, did you do any patching for wither windows, Dell or yokogawa? did someone change the pc display resolution and hence upset the rendering of compiled graphics. Check the windows update logs on the HIS to...

HMI Problem in Centum VP Operator stations
Seen that problem. Its a R5/Win7 combination effort. Even occurred on Yokogawa supplied hardware. This is a Windows driver issue. As @hatena285 says its non approved hardware and likely to be an untested windows release as well. you will need to find alternate windows graphic drivers and try them.

PLC to PC Communication using USB
Use Ethernet, the DM1E comes with it and will support Modbus (TCP, RTU & ASCII) & Ethernet/IP. If you try USB you will have to protocol convert USB to ethernet using something like a RedLion DA10D or DA30D and writing your own conversion mapping. Once you are on Modbus TCP or Ethernet/IP you...

Yo u are probably correct when dealing with soft key arrangement. The OP is referring to hard keys where the USB remains with the machine and if the USB is removed then some functionality of the software is removed as well, like modifying or saving projects..

service providers are reporting that Emerson have not got the hard-license (USB) key generation system running. So you can have soft key only until further notice.

Use a Bluetooth sniffer like Bluefruit LE from Adafruit. It is programmed with a special firmware image and uses a nRF51822 chip. You can capture data exchanges between BLE devices and push the data into Wireshark via USB. BLE sniffer That should get you basic information on data packets that...
