Cause of High Neutral Current
Persie... the current values you listed yield an Ampere-Unbalance-Factor, AUF, of 3.7% if you comply with NEMA standards and 3.8% if you comply with IEC standards. Can you answer the questions I listed in Solo’s post as well as the two below? (7) What is the current magnitude measured...

Starting of large Induction Motor on Gas Turbine Generator
Arjun Sharma... to start the investigation into your problem: 1) Has the motor ever been started while uncoupled from the driven machine? 2) Do you know what the bus-voltage was at the instant the Soft-Start controller was energized? Regards, Phil Corso

Cause of Reverse Power
Jaypot... testing requires knowledge of the relay used. Is it analog, solid-state or microprrocessor based. Also, a single-phase unit is normally used, but sometimes it can be three-phase. Can you provide detail as to the manufacturer? Regards, Phil Corso

450 HP motor problem
Moh.Saleh... how many seconds is a "few"? An uncoupled motor of the size you cited should take no-longer than 1 second to reach rated-rpm, at 100% voltage, regardless of whether it is a 2 or 4-pole machine! Regards, Phil Corso

Operations of 2 diesel generators in off-grid system
Roberto... I suggest you consider 2 automobile-alternators, each driven by a Diesel-engine! 1) Since their outputs are DC, parallel them to the same load-bus via blocking-diodes. The diodes will permit you to monitor the output voltage of each generator! 2) Connect the various loads, if...
