11KV Motor Failure on GE Frame 9E
Sunny... to start and presuming protection was of the type that limited ground-current magnitude, then ask your rewind company to determine the cause of the ground fault? Ask if failure occurred: 1) Within stator winding slot, but at slot floor? 2) Within slot, but at slot wall? 3)...

Earth-neutral voltage
Sensorless... it sounds like the ground return path is ineffective. And your measurement indicates, at least to me, the situation could be extremely hazardous. Furthermore, in another post (1297796659) you made a comment that I interpreted as meaning your electrical background is limited! My...

Control.com Help
To all Control.Com participants... this thread brought back fond memories of both Sicilian grandmother's and what they taught me as a child: "Quannu Ai Lu Stomacu Chinu Trovi Difitti Cu Lu Mangiari!" The translation is, loosely, "When one's belly is filled, he soon finds fault with the...

Black start test
CCTech... I disagree with your premise that it wasn't a breaker "Trip!" Any opening of the breaker, other than manual action, must result from the "Protection" System, hence a "Trip!" I will concede, however, to any argument that "Trip" action(s) can be prioritized/categorized as to...

NG burnner trip
Krush... are you (or anyone else) interested in how a toilet-leak caused failure of a PLC-based BMS "protecting" a 12-story boiler, and initiated an $800,000,000 lawsuit? If so, contact me off-list! Regards, Phil Corso (cepsicon[at]aol[dot]com)
