S.Buquain, In our Fr-9E machine sealing and cooling air is taken from 5th stage of compressor. The reason for sealing air already explained well by CSA. FYI, in our Fr-6B sealing and cooling was taken from 11th and 5th stage. Initially it'll use 11th stage air, once sufficient pressure...

Ebing, It is good to know your problem has solved. Thank you for the feedback & CSA supports. Take care G.Rajesh

Hi Vinod, Are you preparing this for any coming maintenance? How old your plant is? If it is old plant you can find the list of required parts and approx. cost in your inventory system (if SAP, Maximo,...if such system used) If it you are going for first time maintenance then you...

Please follow the CSA instructions. We are regularly testing availability on liquid fuel for our all machines (6B-3, 9E-2). Though it regular (monthly) we had trip on transfer and suspecting air in the line. Now we are planning to place automatic vent valve in the liquid fuel line in two...

As usual well explained by CSA. Thank you G.Rajesh

CSA, Thank you very much. I'll be also useful to Ebing. Take care G.Rajesh

CSA, Waiting for your reply for the below doubt. > To know more, how clutch will give problem after 90 % speed ALL the time? > ("It tripped around 90% TNH by Loss of Flame for several times with liquid fuel during startup"). Thank you G.Rajesh

CSA, Your feedback will be very useful to Ebing to solve their problem. Ebing also confirmed they have problem with electric motor clutch. To know more, how clutch will give problem after 90 % speed ALL the time? ("It tripped around 90% TNH by Loss of Flame for several times with...

Ebing, Have you replaced with new servo valve or repaired one? Is there any hunting on LFBV (in your case LFCV)? Is liquid fuel inlet pressure stable? (confirm no air in the line) Generally clutch won't be a problem since its working upto 90% speed. Take care G.Rajesh

Thank you for feedback!!

Yashiv, Are you sure your set point is 1 in/s and 1.1? Our is 0.5 in/s for alarm and 1 in/s for trip. Even my old plant too having the same setting. take care G.Rajesh

Uj, I hope you question is, in "ISO" mode if more load taken, will it trip the unit or won't unit permit to place more load? I think, it will trip on over frequency. But in "Droop" mode, it won't permit to place more load (temp. control). Take care G.Rajesh

Umesh, > When one try to change over Hydraulic pumps, at the instant of giving command > "LEAD selection" to stand by pump it starts but SRV (Stop ratio valve-gas > pressure control valve) having zero position. When are you changing this selection? (during crank / FSNL /). SRV & GCV only...

Hi, We too experienced such problem in the past. It might be a servo valve problem or line filter choke. In our case it solved after replaced servo valve. You can try to clean the servo valve filter and see the improvement. best of luck G.Rajesh

CSA, Thank you very much for detailed answer. Well, you have mentioned clearly it can be run on low load. For example, if 100 MW designed machine is running with 1% load (1MW) for continuous one week. Assume grid is disconnected and ISO mode operation supplying only auxiliaries load (it...

CSA, > Do you mean ISOchronous Speed Control mode? Yes > And what condition or event is prompting the question? just to know the effect on the machines, and to know it is good to run or not. Thank you & take care G.Rajesh
