how do you put the ASCII characters inside the PLC? My PLC (LS industries) has this software that lets you create P2P Tx and Rx frames but I do not see anything for just a master/slave communication configuration.

You will need to provide a bit more information on what you are trying to do. For example, the LS Industries that comes up in a Google search makes metal cleaning equipment. What that has to do with PLCs is not obvious to me.

Have you got a link to the model of PLC you are using? What are you trying to communicate with?

I dont know about the PLC you are using, I assume that it just sends a block of data that you have configure. I imagine the problem you have is reading and writing to this data area and not the display format of the data; ASCII characters are just numbers. To get the ASCII character set just do an internet search i.e. ascii table
