Connecting Multiple Devices With Different Comm Ports

I am looking to connect devices with RS232 and RS485 ports to a GE VersaMax plc with an ethernet port using Modbus. Can this be done (without significant cost)?

Versamax IC200CPE005 has 1 port RS232, 1 port RS495 and 1 Ethernet, and I think that the last firmware supports Modbus Master and Slave for this CPU.

If you have to connect these serial devices to ethernet you can use a converter from serial to ethernet also from GE Fanuc IC200SET001 about 500 usd, you can search for more information in GE Fanuc site, www.gefanuc.com/support/plc

Modicon offers a modbus serial to modbus ethernet tcp/ip converter that is din rail mounted and supports both rs232 and rs485. This device is fully configurable and can even allow programing commands to pass through it as well as data information.
