Dear All,
I have been seeing similar pattern in vibration spectra too often at test bed condition at manufacturer.
Sometimes, 1X axial vibration is too-high, sometimes 2X axial vibration is too high, and sometimes only NDEA 2X vibration is too high, which result in high overall vibration for axial direction.
This pattern I have observed in 4-pole generators irrespective of rating, exciter rotor is overhang type at NDE.
Please put some light on this problem as I want to understand the source of the problem.
Thanking you.
