I wonder if anyone could help me.
I have been trying to read the input/output of a PLC thru the SMRX ActiveX control but I can not get good results. I have a PLC Telemecanique Twido, it uses the Modbus protocol and it is compatible to RTU or ASCII transmision modes. I just need to get the results into an Excel sheet.

I tried the examples and I can open and close the port, But I can not read data.

I am not sure of the address to config on the instuction. The SMRX help file calls for a data address from 0 to 65535 but I do not know how is related to the Inputs/Outputs of the PLC.

Do I need to look for the memory allocation address on the PLC?

I have the same problem with the registers.

Do you have any application with twido that I could use as example?
