TTRXB

Hi all,

I would like to know:
1) Why TTRXB is called "Speed biases reference temperature" while it is calculated from the CPD

2) What is the formula for calculating the allowable spread in GE Mark-v or VI.

Can anybody plz help?

1) One should never COMPLETELY trust signal name descriptions in LONGNAME.DAT; often they are wrong--this is one example. TTRXB (Turbine Temperature Reference - Exhaust, Biased) can even be different in different turbine control applications. Early in the Speedtronic line, TTRXB was the speed-biased exhaust temperature reference. It has evolved over time.

2) The formula can be derived from the Combuston Monitor BBL (Big Block Language) block in the CSP (Control Sequence Program), or the Combustion Monitor block Help function in the Mk VI.
