Need some help about how to measure liquid level in a sealed tank with pressure sensor.

Hello Friend,

I bought a pressure sensor to measure the liquid level of sealed tank from Holykell. However, I don't know if it can be used to measure corrosive gases or liquids. Even if the manufacture told me that it's made of 316 stainless steel, promised extended warranty, but I dare not try it. So someone can tell me about this? thanks!

From a metallurgical textbook or a Google search, it is easy to find a table of metals and their corrosion resistance. Some instrumentation handbooks also have material compatibility tables.

Find the chemicals that are in the tank and check if 316SS is compatible. Here is one example;
