Since We are working in a Powder making company..... the motors are heaviliy exposed in a dusty environment... which fills the fins of the TEFC motor & reduces the heat dissipation on the motor.......

Can any one tell me any company is manufacturing motor (up to 400 kw) which can be used in a heavy dusty environment.

 

Why not add some cooling water tubes between the motor fins? Then even if the whole assembly gets encased in dust, there will still be a path for the heat to get out. Better to use cooling tower water than chilled water as it is cheaper per kw dissipated and won't go below the dewpoint, thus
possibly causing condensation inside the motor.
