New Products Expand Belden Solution Lineup for Connectivity and I/O
Belden has introduced a set of new solutions for improved connectivity, faster speeds, and increased security in critical environments with new software and hardware products.
In an effort to drive more enhancements for industrial automation and connectivity, Belden has recently launched a selection of new products, including the LioN-X IO-Link Hub by Lumberg Automation and OSDP access control cables for building security. The company has also enhanced its Horizon software console, Hirschmann Industrial HiVision software, and BXP managed switches.
Belden Horizon Console Update
Updates to the Belden Horizon Console give organizations better control over data collection and transfer. Industrial settings can now utilize Belden Horizon to send operational technology (OT) data to the cloud for analysis. Additionally, it supports connectivity for multiple remote networks using just one console connection. On-site deployment will be available soon.
Hirschmann BXP Managed Switches
Hirschmann BXP, a member of the reliable BOBCAT managed switch family, offers robust security features and a compact, durable design ideal for rail rolling stock use. It supports real-time communications and seamless redundancy protocols (HSR/PRP). Additionally, BXP holds various international and industry certifications, meeting essential rail rolling stock standards like EN 50155, EN 50121, and EN 45545.

This device offers a high port density, including 20-port and 28-port options, enabling the connection of numerous network devices. It also provides Power over Ethernet (PoE ++) support, delivering up to 120 watts to meet the demands of onboard devices requiring high power. Moreover, it boasts robust bandwidth and speed capabilities, featuring up to 6x 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) ports to support networks prepared for future needs.
Hirschmann Industrial HiVision Version 8.4
The latest version, 8.4 of Hirschmann Industrial HiVision, introduces a new zero-touch device replacement configuration. Additionally, it enhances the usability of the MultiConfig feature by incorporating new dialogs and parameters from the latest HiOS firmware.

This cable features a unique design where individual wires are attached to a central spline using patented Banana Peel construction, eliminating the need for an overall jacket.
