i'm looking for the software to programming a plc telemecanique tsx 17

i have installed the pl7 micro software, but i have to install first a older version.

my version is v:1.5

You need the software PL7 3 or PL7 2.

PL7 Micro software won't allow you to program this kind of PLC.

The TSX17 programmed with DOS-based software, either PL7-1, PL7-2, depending on which memory module you were using. PL7 Micro is for the TSX Micro, the TSX37. But PL7 Micro has the ability to import a project from PL7-2 or PL7-3. But you're not going to be able to program the TSX17 with PL7 Micro.

 

If I remember well, the TSX17 was from an older generation. If there was any programming tools it was only DOS / OS/2 based. The PL7 Micro is
Windows based. It was a clean break from the previous generation, Windows, IEC, etc. You will need to go to your sales rep to buy the TSX17 tools.

The software you need depens on the type of processor normaly it is a tsx 17-10 or a tsx 17-20 let me know I have a program for both

Good day,

The post is very old and I hope someone can still help me. I would need PL7-2 software as I need to retrieve the program from eeprom of TSX 172 4012 PLC. Currently the PL7-1 version is making me troubles when trying to install it.
