MsComm is not responding, if we run the application continously for more than 2 hours. Why it's happening i can't understand. what's the reason and how to solve the problem? please help me.

 

Are you refering to the MsComm AcitveX Control supplied with Visual Studio?

May be you need to empty the buffer. Sometimes when you acquire the buffer data, some "trash" is being left into the receiving buffer.
