I am working on preparing a site specific SOP for the P&ID instrument tagging convention and HMI graphics piping color codes.

If anyone can tell me which standard should I refer to get these information, please share.

I have tried searching in google but could not get good source of information.

TIC 103 - Instrument Identification or Tag Number
T 103 - Loop Identification
103 - Loop Number
TIC - Functional Identification
T - First-letter
IC - Succeeding-Letters

EXPANDED TAG NUMBER
10-PAH-5A - Tag Number
10 - Optional Prefix
A - Optional Suffix
Note: Hyphens are optional as separators
