Suppose we have two generators of equal capacity running in parallel with Droop Reactive current compensation. what will happen if signal from CT of reactive current compensator (Droop Reactive current Compensation) of one generator is not reaching the AVR ?

Will there be any effect on power factor of generators?

I look forward from hearing all of you !!!

Suppose the signal from CT of incoming machine is not reaching the AVR then this machine will keep taking all the load of bus bar or grid and will stop with over load trip. In normal conditions this machine would have taken its share of load and would have run in stable condition with other machine.

Also you may end up having damage to your alternator at output terminals if the CT signal is not reaching to its AVR.

PF??

Thanks and regards,
Sanjay
