Extract RSView SE historical data from DAT to Excel
I am an enduser of RSView SE, and the integrator set up the application to log the historical data in a .DAT format...there are three files for each day (tagname, string, and data). Does anyone know how I can extract the data into a CSV file so I can create some reports?

it would be better to set data logging to use the ODBC then the data can be read out of the database by using excel etc.

You could easily create reports directly from your RSLinx OPC Server with Matrikon Analytics Excel Reporter
