I have two motors capacity of 0.37 kw. In the name plate detail of the motor they have mentioned 'V 230/400 delta/star'. How in delta it will be 230 v and in star 400 v. how i have to do the cable connection. kindly please explain in detail. what it refers to. what we have to consider

What u have mentioned is that .37kW means 370Watt means the motor will draw approx .64 to 1 amps.
So for this motor u need not use Star/Delta Starter please used DOL (Direct online starter).

For that the connection should be done in Delta, means there are 3 windings in the motor A1-A2, B1-B2, C1-C2. So the connection in delta will be C2-A1-Rphase, A2-B1Yphase, B2-C1 Bphase.
