Has anyone heard about Mark VI CARD TPIM?? this card is an interface between contact type fire sensors (45's) to the MKVI control panel to produce a trip.

I can not find this card in any of the GE MKVI manuals, although I installed one in a remote site.

If anybody has any information about this card, like part #, or manual, I would highly appreciate it.

Thank you.

Ah, the infamous Turbine Protective Interface Module.

It's not a Mark VI card, it's just an interface card which can be used with Mark V, Mark VI, or Mark VIe, and is typically used with Mark I and Mark II to Mark VI/VIe retrofit systems to provide a means of quickly and easily "duplicating" the functionality of components which are typically removed when the Mark I/II is removed.

You'd need to get a copy of the drawing from GE, I'm afraid.

One word of caution, though: There was a version floating around (widely distributed, actually) that had an error in the schematic. I don't recall what it was, but it was relatively significant. I believe it was a schematic showing a typical implementation, with fire detectors and alarm bell and discharge solenoid, as opposed to the other version which was an electrical schematic just of the TPIM itself with no I/O connected to it.

Sorry I couldn't be more specific about the error.
