UNBALANCE LOAD, REVERSE POWER IN SYNCHRONIZATION
ControlsGuy25 OP only sent Fault Chart showing kW and PF. Furthermore, there is no mention from anyone, except you, that loads are inductive. My calc illustrates Gen'r load consists of a large resistive component and a very small inductive component! BTW, have you noticed that OP no longer...

UNBALANCE LOAD, REVERSE POWER IN SYNCHRONIZATION
Controls.Guy... The Generator loads are not Inductive. They are 3-ph AC to DC Bridge Rectifiers.... which also distort generator current wave-shape ! Regards, Phil Corso

UNBALANCE LOAD, REVERSE POWER IN SYNCHRONIZATION
JSMHarish... The generators are rated ekW=1,045, but are operating at 20-30% of rating! Why? Usually, if not about 70%, then the present low-load operation will cause a host of problems! One, is the problem you are experiencing, another is reduced service-life! Is a Mfg representative on-site...

UNBALANCE LOAD, REVERSE POWER IN SYNCHRONIZATION
JSMHarish... First, welcome to Control Automation. 1) Please provide generator parameters, kW, V, A, Pf, Hz, and operating hours since last maintenance, if any? 2) Did the problem suddenly appear or gradually over a long period of time? 3) Can you provide a chart listing kW and Pf for all 5...

Power factor compensation
@WTF.... You still don't get it! The product of VI can only be dimensioned as "Power" if I is at 0 degrees with respect to V! Regarding Malyah's statement, frequency of electrical current in order to maintain a desired level of power... you are right... frequency has zero, 0, nada... effect on...

@ WTF... Glad you asked! Since I didn't know anything about Malyah's electrical knowledge or experience I didn't respond to his frequency-related question! Nor would I use the disparaging term you did, when the purpose of this forum is to be-educating, not be-littling! I stuck to the original...

Malyah... Welcome to Control Automation. Well you certainly got my very old blood moving again! You are correct when you use the term "compensating"! But your error is the term "reactive power"! It should have been been "reactive component"! My dissertations concern the use of the term "power'...

Do we need Braking resistor with VFD?
AndreyG... Welcome to Control Com. I agree with your thought about the Brake Resistor. I suggest you contact the VFD supplier. The VFD might be configurable so that speed is reduced to zero and then the valve is closed! They might also provide one of their Field-techs, or know of one near your...
