Unbalanced Currents
Actually, the original data was sufficient to complete two "Negative-Sequence" computations... one covering line-voltage unbalance, the other line-current unbalance. The original 2015 study can be posted if anyone is interested ! Regards, Phil Corso

Induction motor Acceleration/starting time
Responding to Mahmoud-Diaa Starting-current is the current drawn by a motor during its runup, or acceleration to normal operating speed. Its value is in Amperes. Ignoring the transients of the first 2 or 3 cycles, then starting-current increases (as shown in the motor’s spec sheet) from the...

3 phase DC motor for car
Kullen Technolgies... "Q.E.D." (sometimes written "QED") is an abbreviation for the Latin phrase "Quod Erat Demonstrandum" ("that which was to be demonstrated"), a notation which is often placed at the end of a mathematical proof to indicate its completion. Regards, Phil Corso

3 phase DC motor for car
Welcome Kullen Technologies In my experience I have never run across a 3-phase, DC motor: a) The nameplate is indicative of a 3-phase AC motor . b) The nameplate is indicative of a field changeable configuration found in AC motors, i.e., Wye or Delta ! c) The magnitude of Volts x...

Loading power transformer
Deji... Please note, it starts with several relatively simple tests to detect if the Xfmr was unintentionally damaged during the time it was de-energized to the day it's to be re-energized ! If those tests lead to "NO !" Then energize and load it ! BTW, can you provide some info as to Voltage...

Causes of Reverse Power in Generators
Amit06212... Thank you for bringing this topic back to the forum. Following is my Readers-Digest-type version, using an Energy Approach: 1) The Gas Turbine part of GTG converts chemical-energy in fuel-burned to mechanical-energy. 2) The Generator part of GTG is a Synchronous-Machine that can...

WHAT IS THE VALUE OF 'k' IN BERNOULLI'S LAW FOR SQUARE ROOT EXTRACTION q=k*sqrt(dp)
Thibika... I think you are referring to the Bernoulli equation as applied to a container/tank of liquid (probably water because density is not mentioned) escaping or flowing thru a hole/orifice on the side and at a certain depth below the surface of the liquid in the container/tank ! The "k"...
