Auma Actuators AC 01.2 which are failing to bootup with WD-Timeout error
If you have the flash card, open the LCD display and at the back of it, there is a memory card slot. While power to the MOV is off, insert the card to the slot. Power up the MOV. While booting up, it will get the update from the flash card. It will reboot a couple of times to complete the update.

Siemens G120 drive how to check analogue output
Hi! Replying to your questions (with questions) - 1: If the AO is in the current mode does it mean that the resistance of the field must be exactly 250 Ohms? What if it mismatches by a lot or is near 0. - How are you measuring the resistance? Is it with power? Why do you want to check the...

Siemens G120 drive how to check analogue output
If your AO is sending 1-5 VDC and you want to measure 4-20mA, then 250 ohm resistor connected in shunt will be a good choice. But if you are already already sending 4-20mA in the output, no need to put a resistor. You can use multimeter in series with your field instrument to measure the current...

How to to simulate a fixed reading/value from Yokogawa Pressure transmitters
First off, you have to input everything about your issue. Like, model of the transmitter, range, for pressure/temperature, you are using what instrument to simulate and how you are simulating, is it Hart/Fieldbus, etc. Maybe there is a switch/jumper in the transmitter that prevents you from...

AWMA actuator AC01.2 Fault
Looks like a Torque fault on both open and close. Usually this happens when both limits were reached. What is the setting of open and close? Is it on torque? How much? For now, you have to loosen the gland packing and try to move to the close position (your indicator says it is fully open) by...

security code Emerson Rosemount 1056
I think it is better to call Emerson for support. Unless you want to exhaust your effort in trying to break the 3-digit code set by that "somebody". It was noted in the manual that you have to record the code for future use and this should be known to all maintenance guys.

Auma actuator, valve didn't run in remote mode, what is the problem?
The commands need 24VDC control voltage to activate them. Without power, they will not work.

Emerson Rosemount Transmitter 3051
It could be the type of sensor that they used. I am guessing the CA or CD has a more sensitive sensor than the TA/TG. Just to clear up on my first reply, Overpressure limit is actually the maximum amount of pressure (out of the pressure range) that can be applied to a pressure sensor without...

Emerson Rosemount Transmitter 3051
MWP is different than OPL. The MWP or Maximum Working Pressure refers to the maximum permitted pressure that the pressure transmitter can handle continuously (safe operating limit). This is where your field range is tied to and it is always higher than the range you requested when you ordered...

Cylinder Position Sensor - Sticking Closed
The keyword here is "flashing red light". This means the light should blink. What I could understand from the thread starter is that, the light stays ON the moment the sensor is closed. But he never came back to update this topic. Might already been resolved.

Cylinder Position Sensor - Sticking Closed
Can you post how you wired your circuit? Does this mean the light does not flash when it activates? Does the light has an electronic component aside from the capacitor?

valve drawing flange to flange measurment
It's hard to determine by just looking at the attached drawing especially that it is blurred and don't know the model of the valve. Why not try measuring it physically? Is there an issue doing this?

auma actuator local control push button not responding
I am guessing the other way. It might be that the pushbuttons lose their magnetic properties or the spring is broken. Try this one if this is your case: 1. Pry open the aluminum faceplate by using a small screwdriver. 2. Pull the selector until it stops then rotate the faceplate to expose the...
