Speedtronic Mark V TCEA Overspeed Card problem
There are three TCEA cards in a Mark V turbine control panel, in the <P> core, in locations 1, 3, and 5. They are (should be) identical with respect to those components. Have you tried looking at either of the other two TCEA cards to see if you can determine the values of the components?

BOO in Fuel splitter BBL
It's not BOO. It's B00. It's a reference to the fixed point math notation used in the Mark V. In that block, '1 B00' is a reference to a value of "1", and '0 B00' is a reference to a value of "0". In the Appendix of later revisions of the Mark V Application Manual, GEH-6195, there is...

Abnormal sound during mode changeover in DLN2+ machines
While you may consider the sound to be abnormal, it is likely not, given the way that DLN combustion systems work. During transfers, the flow through the various nozzles increases and decreases, and that in itself can cause "whistling" noises. In addition, the combustion dynamics (pressure...

gas heating/temperature in DLN machines
Gas fuel is heated for multiple reasons. One is to ensure there is no condensation of liquids as the gas flows through valves and nozzles in the fuel system. It has been found that liquids in the gas fuel can lead to primary zone re-ignitions in DLN-I machines and flashbacks in DLN 2.n...

SRV & GCV valve calibration
Are you manually stroking the valves after calibrating them to verify the LVDT feedback calibration after calibrating LVDT feedback? Are you using AutoCalibrate to calibrate the LVDT feedbacks? What kind of Speedtronic panel do you have? Is it SIMPLEX or TMR? What is the difference...

SRV hunting - frame 5
We have no idea of the type of turbine control system in use on the turbine, and whether it's a TMR or a SIMPLEX system, or what. There's just too much we don't know about the conditions and what you've done to troubleshoot them. We could make a lot of recommendations only to have you respond...

Aux lube pump on Frame 7
I've never seen this particular problem, and it's very odd that if you are getting all three signals going to a logic "1" at the same time that the unit isn't tripping. It's not clear if you're saying this is happening when the unit is running or when it's shut down, or both. Can you please...

When a single prime mover and generator, or multiple prime movers and generators, are operated in parallel with other prime movers and generators on a "large" grid to supply a load which is much larger than any single prime mover and generator can supply, the governors of the prime movers are...

System voltage increase
I think your tap-changer setting and the negative VAr question are related, and perhaps changing the tap would help with returning the VAr flow closer to zero, maybe even positive. As long as you are operating the generator within the reactive capability curve of the generator you should be...

30 Percent Trip
Look at the sequencing and find L63HGL and L63HGLX and follow them through to L4POSTX. If there is a L2F or L2TVX permissive in the L4POSTX rung that has the L63HGL or L63HGLX, then if the trip oil signal is picked up when L2F picks up or L2TVX drops out then it's possible that at the end of the...

Well, this is more information, but you didn't indicate if you'd even checked the trip oil pressure switch valve(s) or which fuel the unit is being started on. High exhaust temperature spreads can exist even if the average exhaust temperature is not high. You also haven't indicated if...

You really haven't given us very much to go on. What fuel are you trying to start on: gas or liquid? Are you having trouble establishing flame or is it taking a long time? Is the flame flickering during firing? Are the exhaust temperature spreads really high during firing? If you're...

I don't know where you are monitoring the servo currents, or if you're adding the three values together, or what. It's very confusing. It would really help if you would tell us where you're reading these values from and if you're adding the three processors' values together; in other words, how...
