What kind of connectors are #AS-MBKT-085 and #AS-MBKT-185; are they 9-pin dsub or some other kind of connector?

When connecting a Quantum CPU #140-CPU-434-12A to a Cutler-Hammer panelmate #1785T with modbus plus #1248 and a Zebra barcode printer, what cables do I need?

 

9 pin dsub connection to the network but the wiring connection is IDC. On of them also contains a terminating resistor while the other does not.

Terminated connectors are used at each end of the Modbus Plus network, unterminated ones are used for the connections other than both ends.

Suggest you download and read the Modbus+ network guide off the Modicon web site. Lots of "gotchas" if you don't do it right the first time.
