3 Phase LC Filter

Can we use this formula for a 3 phase LC filter?
f=1/(sqrt(L*C)*2*pi)

Does the capacitor configuration, Delta or Y, will affect the formula?

Thanks

This is the formula for resonant frequency for ideal LC filter. What formula are you looking for? If you are trying to make a frequency domain analysis, you can use Laplace transform methods, taking into account of the internal resistances of L and C.

You can make the analysis for a single phase system and simply multiply the results by 3 or sqrt(3) depending on what you are calculating.

By the way, an LC filter can be low-pass or high-pass depending on the combination of L and C. "The" formula you are asking for will completely change for both cases.

What would be the formula for calculating the cutoff frequency for a low-pass LC circuit with a cap. then two induct. in series, followed by another cap. in parallel with the first cap.?
