My RTU's send data serially over leased lines. But they are in a polling phylosophy. So will using a full-duplex 4 wire modulation improve the performance over a 2 wire half duplex modulation?
Is there a webiste or a book that can improve my understanding in this regards?

 

Do you mean using 4 lines? I would expect that to increase the throughput but won't it cost more to lease 2 pair over 1?

What baud rate are you running?
