Dear Sir,
Now, we are planning to synchronize 3 sets of low voltage generators ( 1MVA,50 Hz, 0.4 kV, 0.8 pf, 2/3 pitch x 1 nos and 0.81MVA, 50Hz, 0.4 kV, 0.8 pf, 5/6 pitch x 2 nos). When synchronize different pitch generators, circulating currents are produced as normally. So, I want to eliminate the circulating current to protect alternator winding, want to add Neutral Grounding Resistor to our system.
Please suggest me, how may NGR should we add and how ratings should I add?
Best Regards,
Aung
