Could anyone please tell me when the ABB AC110 and AC160 won´t be commercial anymore? I know that they are old and belong to ABBs Classic series but when will they go out of time?

I am about to buy a big DCS system and want to know how long this hardware is going to be around and how the service is going to be in the future.
Since AC110 is placed in the Classic Line I´m getting a bit worried...

 

for a few years I hope were proposing to install AC160 (under westinghouse banner) in a few NPPs. There's not many PLCs that have the pedigree for NPPs.

 

Have you looked at the Siemens PCS7? Can't they live up to your demands in a NPP?
