I am trying to connect to a ABB OPC server. I am using the Matrikon Mobile explorer. The client can connect to the OPC server and tags can be added but I get the following error in the quality value:
Bad, comm failure.

I am using the client directly on the server to get rid of any issues of DCOM.

The "bad, comm failure" is the OPC Server telling you that there's something wrong down the line, such as connectivity to a device.
