This is my first post.

Please advice me. I am trying to design CNC machine for wood working as our project. i have been given GE/FANUC series 0i motor.

Please tell me how to control it. some documents or weblinks would be very helpful.

I want to know how to select servo motors or other motors, spindle capacity etc... compatible to it.

If there are any reference books/websites that would be great.

Try a Google search for the EMC project. there are links there to all sorts of DIY machine tool info.
