I have a GE VersaMax IC200UDR005-DK Micro PLC. This PLC have two Communications Ports. Port 1 on this PLC is an RS-232 RJ-45 Serial Port and Port 2 on this PLC is an RS-485 DB-15 Serial Port. At the amazon.com Website, I buy a Cable described as High Grade Dimond Shape USB-IC200 USB-IC200CBL001 USB Programming Cable for GE Fanuc SNP VersaMax PLC that was claimed its for the GE VersaMax IC200UDR005-DK Micro PLC. Unfortunately, when this cable arrived, I found out that it is a USB to RS-232 DB-9 Serial Cable instead of the USB to RS-485 DB-15 Serial Port 2 Cable for the VersaMax PLC. Please sir, at which places can I buy the exact USB to RS-232 RJ-45 Serial Port 1 Cable and the USB to RS-485 DB-15 Serial Port 2 Cable for the
GE VersaMax IC200UDR005-DK Micro PLC.

I can't attach the manual because its too large, but search for GFK-1645. Section 15.14 discusses the serial connections and pinouts. You could make your own cables if you are handy enough. The RJ-45 to DB-9 cable is IC200CBL500. There is also a USB to RJ-45 version if you don't have a com port and you just want to use port 1 for programming called IC200CBL500A, this will require drivers to be installed to work. I always have a USB serial adapter so the IC200CBL500 would work for me. I can't seem to find the part number for a premade DB-15 cable

Thank you for your reply sir. I already have the GFK-1645 pdf file by Emerson. Please how can I make the IC200CBL500 Cable that will work with my IC200CBL001 Cable. I have tried to connect my Cisco 3750 Switch's RS-232 Female Port to RJ-45 Connector Console Cable to the IC200CBL001 Cable but it does'nt work. Its like the Cisco Console Cable have different pinout configuration, signal levels and driver compatibility when compared to what the VersaMax Micro PLC expects, The IC200CBL500A goes for
$46.95 excluding shipping from USA to Nigeria at the https://www.plccable.com/ge-fanuc-usb-versamax-usb-version-of-ic200cbl500a/ website. Although I will try to buy the company machined IC200CBL500A Cable when I have some cash to spare later, in the mean time, I will like to make the Cable by myself using the GFK-1645 section 15.14 information. Please, what are the components, tools, and textual/illustration/Video demo guidance to make this DIY Cable.

Good day sir, I will like to thank you for letting me know that the VersaMax Micro PLC's RJ-45 to DB-9 cable is IC200CBL500 and that the VersaMax Micro PLC's USB to RJ-45 cable is IC200CBL500A. I have placed an Order for the RJ-45 to DB-9 Cable (IC200CBL500) at the Nigerian Jumia Website since Tuesday, 29th of November 2024 but it haven't been shipped yet. My expectation is that when I finally have the cable, the PLC's communications problem will be solved and that acquiring data and controlling things via ge gas turbine sensors will be without any further waste of time.
