We are a CCGT and have GE Frame 9E. The machines have been running since 2000 and we follow all the recommended maintenance and operational guidelines from GE. Our plant's reliability and availability is very high and we always keep on base load.

We have CI in November and are planning to perform the following recommended tests before the startup.

1. Lube oil cascade test ( To verify the sequence of Lube oil system in all cases)

2. Bearing header lube oil temperatures trip (To verify the trip sequence)

3. Fire case trip; all pumps and fans should stop; no feeding (Lube oil) to fire and blowing out CO2 from compartments(Verification)

4. Reverse power relay generator breaker opening function testing.

5. Emergency stop push button functional test.

Any views whether these are essential or not and should we perform these tests in our outage?
