We are having the water/moisture dew point analyzer installed after gas dehydration unit. The sensor is a aluminum oxide type. The dew point reading is affected due to the Glycol presence in the gas measured.
I would like to know :
Had anybody experienced in this dew point misreading due to glycol traces in the gas.
What is the proposed modification done to eliminate the glycol? At present we are having Glycol coalescer and particle filter in the sampling panel/sample line tubing upstream of the sensor.
Periodic draining is also performed.
