GT controil oil system problem

We have two GT control oil pump. Normal pressure is 98.6 Barg and Alarm is 78 Barg. During pump-B running condition low pressure alarm appeared and Pump-A running automatically. Then we stop pump-B and keep pump-A in service for avoid same situation or check whether same problem occurred or not. After two days again low pressure alarm appeared and pump-B starts automatically.

In the system we have three piston type accumulator and supply and return filter.Both of the pump piston type.

Please tell me what’s the reason why we are getting low pressure alarm in case both pump within two days?

Hello,

Have you checked if there is any alarm on differential pressure switch against filters? Usually hydraulic oil filters have to be changed once a year. (If the oil conditions are ok).

Did you just change the pump or you changed the filters in service too?
