Can anyone recommend how best to measure pH that is between 0 & 1?

There is MPS-D sensor: 0...14pH with +-0.1 pH accuracy. Please see:

You might also search for sensotech, a German based manufacturer of ultrasonic concentration sensors. There is a very good article on their website about using ultrasonic concetration measurement to determine pH.
