I want to measure superheated steam in a 10" line, I have been looking for an insertion type vortex meter, but the data suggests that the temp is too high (550 deg F). Would like some feedback on other manufacturers insertion type vortex meters.

I suggest you use an insertion target meter instead. Try Aaliant at Venture Measurement. The "Ramapo" target meter is a strain gauge target meter, and is useable for both high temperature steam and two-phase flow. Standard
operating temperature is 500 deg. F.

for steam application of 10" line size you better use orifice as primary element and rosemount 3095 mv multivariable transmitter. this instrument will give you total accuracy of +/- 1% mass flow rate.
for more details you can visit at "www.rosemount.com":http://www.rosemount.com

further you need more detail pls write.
