I want to establish a communication link between S7-300 equipped with a CP340 serial interface and Elektronikon MKIV controller which is controlling a compressor.

Does anybody have any manual of the Elektronikon or at least Pinouts of its serial interface?

first of all you have to buy a communication module for profibus, modbus or others at Atlas Copco.

There are converters from CANbus net of compressors to another standards like Profibus, Modbus, etc...

The "boxes" are so called COMBO-BOX, PROFI-BOX,...

When you have one of his "BOXES" (converters), I can send you some examples and some information, I've been working so long and so hard on it and it's so complicated and very difficult.

I too had a same problem with the communication with abb dcs we tried with combox-s with rs-485 to rs-232 converter to abb dcs. When we try it says timed out. Then we straight away linked near controller for one compressor but in vain the same timed out. So we tried for controller manuals for pinouts and how to check. So would you help in this regard.

Sorry for bringing up this topic again after such a long time, but I wanted to ask if anyone has successfully communicated with the Atlas Air Compressors to read the main values from the PLC. We have two Atlas Air Compressors with the Electronikon MKIV model 1900 0710 12. These have three DB9 connectors: LAN, RS485, and I/O. I've tried to communicate via the RS485 port, but without success. I believe this port is intended to work only as a master for the inverter.
Has anyone been able to successfully establish communication with this model?
