Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a quotation for TCI softwrae licenses?
I would need :
TCI: 03.04.02, CIMBridge: 04.04.02, CIMPLICITY 6.1 SP4 + Hotfix, Windows XP SP2.
and
TCI version 1.6 for the existing IDOS station.

We are planning an upgrade from IDOS to HMI on a MARK V system.

The complete HMI upgrade is possible using ARIDES solution from BNF Technology Inc. BNF is a South Korean company and has done this kind of projects in NPP, TPP and CCPP.

BNF has upgraded Mark V HMI in many power plants.

Using ARIDES you can retain the DCS hardware and replace HMI part with modern HMI software and latest computers. The HMI is available on Windows as well as Linux platform.

TCI and CIMBRIDGE are GE proprietary applications, which are provided on HMIs used with GE Mark V, Mark VI, and early Mark VIe Speedtronic turbine control systems. I'm not aware of any authorized sellers of TCI/CIMBRIDGE, or that GE would sell "stand-alone" copies (that is, ones not installed on an HMI with an ARCnet card).

You can contact GE or one of its control system integrators for a copy of CIMPLICITY.

You should contact one of the advertisers here on control.com, GTC, Gas Turbine Controls Corporation, at www.gasturbinecontrols.com. They might have a "new old stock" HMI with the configuration you are looking for.

 

Global Controls (www.global-controls.com) has a <I>/<HMI> retrofit package for the MKV.
