I have a micromotion D100 flow sensor and remote 2700 series transmitter installed in a zone 2 area.
Question - The 4-20mA is generated by the transmitter (Active) and the Ex plate markings on the transmitter shows ..... Ex de (ib) .... Do I need to have a barrier in the safe area on the 4-20mA signal or is the signal at a safe level due to the transmitter itself ?
