I've been asked to look into networking about twenty mitsi FX1S-20M's together throught a factory to a PC for data aquisition and maybe a SCADA system. I'm not familiar with mitsubishi networks. I'm thinking of using a RS-485 communication boards (FX1N-485-BD) on each FX1S and network them via this to a PC. Can any one give me any advice if this is the way to go? Thanks. Would I need two seperate networks as think the max number of nodes is 16.
