I am trying to import points from an existing Cimplicity project to a new one.

I can see no DB Dump/Load Utility that does that in the HMI Menu. Is there (I´m sure there is) a quick way to Import/Export Points (Tags) from/to Projects?

 

Hi,

1) Open the existing project in the workbench.
2) From the menu bar select Tools -> Command Prompt.
3) At the command prompt type clie [Enter]

Using Clie you can import and export points. Clie has a few switches to allow you to tailor point export criteria.

look in the help index for command 'clie'. it is an old DOS-based import/export mechanism
