I'm using Ovation 3.1.3 and Ovation Process Historian 3.2.
OPH was not properly configured due to which it only retained 3.5 months data and deleted all previous data. The path defined for storage did not exist. I continued to copy the *.OHIF files stored in the \OvHist\Data\Storage folder on a periodic basis and store them in a separate location.
During our recent maintenance outage I added the path, that should have been there in the first place, and OPH started working as it should. The problem was that I did not know how to access or view the historical data that I had been archiving (sort of) for the past four months or so. I tried to copy this data into the \OvHist\Data\Storage folder and copy the data present there to the permanent storage location.
This experiment did not work and now Ovcollect, Ovgather and Ovstorage have all stopped. I'm unable to access or view any historical data. I'm unable to load any new historian configuration in the Engineer Station (OPH Server).
Any solution for my predicament?????
