Need to detect rapid pressure drop in a tube trailer at the rate of 50 psi an hour, besides using a plc anyone know of a controller used for
this purpose?

 

You don't mention what your maximum pressure
will be, but I assume its quite a bit higher than the 50 psi/hour.

We have a number of small controller boards
from several manufacturers which can operate at low voltage ( 12 or 24 vdc) and have onboard 10-bit or 12-bit a/d converters as well as having real time clocks.

I'd suggest a pressure transducer into the controller which would then watch the presssure drop over a period of time.
