RSView Alarms "Shared Memory Message"

Problems with alarms in RSview, none appear (did work once upon a time) activity log gives message "the alarm summary failed to open the shared memory file". Logging also seems to have stopped at the same time. I have reinstalled RSview but this did not help, does anybody have any suggestions.
That could happen in version 5.01.23 if you had more than 19 alarm summary processes open at one time. It was fixed in a minor patch release, 5.01.24. RSI support might know of other instances of this error message.
