I was interested to see if anyone has utilized a good SCADA or HMI program for a Mac OSX. I have used ConsultantX which is the best I have seen for Macs but has been pretty difficult to use.

National Instruments' Labview was developed for the Mac...in 1986. They still support OSX. You can make a really decent HMI with it.

Our
http://pvbrowser.org
works on OS X also.

Attention:
Only the client is available in binary form (pvbrowser.dmg).
If you want to run the server also on OS X you will have to compile pvbrowser yourself from pvb.tar.gz.

Additionally you must install Qt from Nokia.

For development you will also need xcode and X11User.

If open-source matters, try mango m2m, it is java-based and could run on MAC. Maybe it could fit if you have common needs (modbus, bacnet, plotting, leds and switches, and so on)

Could take some time to master, but it is Waaay worth its zero-dollar price :-D
